What do children learn and gain?

STEM & Robotics Workshop

The STEM & Robotics program is designed to help kids gradually develop programming skills from basic to advanced. It combines hands-on learning with play. During the program, kids will build functional ENGINO models, conduct experiments to learn through practical experience, and then create and program their own devices and robots.

For 13+ years

STEM & Robotics Workshop For 13+ years

"Professional Engineers" is a two-year STEM & Robotics program for children aged 13+. As teenagers gain more expertise, they use our Engino Produino Controller and seamlessly transition to textual coding. Our dynamic KEIRO™ app offers an Arduino mode, allowing them to switch from block-based charts to advanced coding.

Furthermore, the Produino controller features an integrated Arduino processor, opening up a world of open DIY projects. Their knowledge expands with STEAM exercises and activities packed into their student books. They now use advanced mechanical components to build and complete projects and masterfully engineer robots and our GinoBot™, embracing a future prosperous with innovation and endless possibilities.

For 7-9 years

STEM & Robotics Workshop For 7-9 years

"Young Engineers" is a two-year STEM & Robotics program for children aged 7 to 9. It aims to develop their cognitive abilities and promote progress in areas such as problem-solving skills, memory, attention span, abstract thinking, reading and writing, and numeracy. This prepares children for advanced academic challenges and more complex social interactions.

• Young learners construct models that align with the STEM theme using Engino Qboidz and Engino Classic parts. As they progress, the complexity of their models and challenges increases. During some sessions, they are introduced to our 3D Builder application, where they can also design/build their models virtually.

• Models come alive by integrating motors, LEDs, IR and touch sensors, and Engino ERP Mini controller. After mastering manual programming, kids delve into diverse programming options, controls, functions, and operators using our KEIRO™ app

• Children can test programs they create on the Engino EnViRo™ Simulation Software, a dynamic tool that helps them become skilled at programming. Moreover, they can record and play a program just like they would by pushing the physical buttons on the controller using our EnginoRobot BT™ App.

• Open Project, where they apply their knowledge to solve a problem using a design engineering approach. They research, design, test, evaluate, modify, and present their solutions to peers and the community, breaking down complex projects into manageable steps.

For 10-12 years

Robotics & Engineering For 10-12 years

"Master Engineers" is a two-year STEM & Robotics program for children aged 10 to 12. It aims to develop cognitive abilities and promote progress in logical thinking, strategic planning, and solving complex problems. It also aims to improve memory, attention span, understanding of abstract concepts, and critical thinking abilities. Furthermore, it helps enhance mathematical skills, including complex arithmetic operations and understanding higher-level mathematical concepts. These prepare children for advanced academic challenges and more complex social interactions.

• Master learners use Engino Classic parts to construct STEM-themed models and program them to increase in complexity as they progress.

• Engino ERP Pro controller with up to 8 outputs enables these models to easily navigate dynamic tracks and courses. This controller allows obstacle detection, sound generation, and precise line following.

• Children also learn to use the drop-down option in KEIRO ™, which converts pseudocode into real code, establishing a connection between programming and coding.

• Children learn to create loops using controls such as 'IF/Else' and 'Repeat' in conjunction with operators, functions, and variables.

• Children can test programs they create on the Engino EnViRo™ Simulation Software, a dynamic tool that helps them become skilled at programming. Moreover, they can record and play a program just like they would by pushing the physical buttons on the controller using our EnginoRobot BT™ App.

For 4-6 years

Robotics & Engineering For 4-6 years

"Junior Engineers" is a two-year STEM & Robotics program for children aged 4 to 6. It aims to develop their cognitive abilities and promote progress in areas such as language, memory, problem-solving, and social cognition. This prepares children for the challenges of formal education and more complex social environments.

• Junior learners build models using Engino Qboidz following instructions on our KidCAD™ 3D Viewer app, aligning with the STEM theme.

• Moreover, they gain insight into scientific phenomena, such as the functionality of solar panels, by integrating solar panels and motors into their models, thereby animating them and grasping the fundamental principles at play.

• Manual programming challenges, starting with single outputs, such as motor programming, and progressing to dual outputs, such as LEDs, to allow the creation of manual programming sequences.

• The programming journey ends with FACEBOT, a ready-to-program robot that familiarizes children with advanced programming concepts and block-based coding for directional commands, empowering them to direct their robot's movements.

• An Open Project where kids apply their knowledge to solve a problem using the design engineering approach. They research solutions, design and test their ideas, make modifications, and present their final solution to peers and the community.
